Enhanced Photo Art & Instruction

Bev's oversized greeting cards
are ideal to enhance with
Marshall oil paints. Printed on
heavy ivory parchment and
printed in sepia tones, the card turns into a canvas for your creativity.

The scene and its colors were uniquely selected for this commercial location.

Oil-Enhanced Photography

My custom oil-enhanced photographs are ideal for special places or are special treatment for special photographs.

Artists (or aspiring Artists), I offer "How to" sessions and am developing an e-manual of how to use Marshall Photo Oils.  A DVD is also in the works.

About Photo Oil Enhancement

This technique is ideal to create custom works of fine art for homes or offices. You select the scene and the colors.

I start with your photo or mine; black and white or sepia-tone on paper or canvas are best. The photograph could be one of your favorites or one of mine. Line illustrations, such as my oversized greeting cards at right, work well, too. Then, I use Marshall oil paints and pencils to produce a beautiful hand-enhanced image suitable for framing.

I became an ardent student of enhanced photography when creating my travelogue book, Arches, Turrets and Ivy. It was fun to transform photos rich in old-world charm of Austria and Germany into extraordinary fine art.

This last example is a more subtle enhancement of a color photograph. The sky has more color. There are more flowers throughout the foliage, and the flowing water and its splash have been enlarged to draw more attention to that area. Some foliage has been softened (side of house) and expanded (eves of house).
