Dublin Art
A Parade Through Time 1810-2010
On October 2nd, this "Parade Through Time" mural was unveiled by the Mayor
of Dublin. The Dublin Cornet Brass Band played on the sunny day and then a
group of Bagpipers fittingly serenaded the celebration. The 6' x 4'
moveable mural was then viewed by the community outside for the day before
being brought inside the Municipal Building on Emerald Parkway. It now
hangs there for visitors, residents and school children to view.
The easel, frame and birch painting surface were all prepared and custom
made by one of Bev's church friends, George Zaebst. George branded his name
on the back of the frame for the future historians to find. Bev knew he was
the only one she would trust to make all of this the proper way. He is a
master carpenter and had done numerous special projects in her church.
Bev figures she spent at the bare minimum, 150 hours painting, 24 hours
transferring her images onto the surface, at least 40 hours drawing the
images, 24 hours reducing or enlarging her reference material and arranging
the pictures in a sequence that made sense and two years gathering reference
material. Many images are from the Dublin History book, but most are
original photos taken by Bev.
A professional photographer, Joe Wagenhals, took over a dozen photos and
worked many hours to compile the poster and fine art print that is now
available. The poster is 24" wide x 18" high with an aqueous finish. The
fine art print is a limited edition (100) and is an impressive 30" wide x 21
inches high. Both show at their best with a mat, but can also be framed
without one.
Please look at the options listed below for pricing. The posters are
available 24/7, and one or two are always available made up in the poster
options - but the print and frame would be made when ordered. Lead time
would be two - three weeks at the most.
Shipping is possible, but not included in the pricing. Same with sales
tax - that must be added.
PayPal is one option to pay, or if you are in the Dublin area and would
like to pay by check or credit card and pick up the framed work, that is
great. Contact Bev by e-mail to make arrangements:

Dublin, Ohio, lead to these charming doorways from Dublin's past.
This is where the village of Dublin began back in 1810, and examples
of its early 19th-century architecture still stand. All buildings
are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The shops and restaurants featured
are among those open in Historic Dublin for the 2005 Dub Crawl.

Bev created pen-and-ink drawings for
a “Dub Crawl” T-shirt sponsored by the Historic Dublin Business
Association. She enhanced the drawings with watercolor paints for
the poster.
Printed on thick, aqueous-coated archival
paper, the poster is impervious to damage by paper not acid free.
